About Moira
Moira is named after the Greek goddesses of fate — the Moirai, who measured out the thread of every life. It's also a small body that circles our Sun: asteroid 638, Moira. Both meanings sit at the center of what we do.
Most astrology tells you what you're like. Moira tells you when — what season of your life you're in, and the question it's quietly asking you.
We do this by combining two traditions that are rarely brought together:
Classical Hellenistic astrology. The 2,000-year-old system of timing — annual profections, planetary sect, returns, and zodiacal releasing — that ancient astrologers built to read the movement of a life, not a fixed personality type. It's the depth that sun-sign horoscopes leave out.
Depth psychology. Every reading is translated through Jungian and attachment psychology. We're less interested in labels ("you're a Virgo") than in how you, specifically, reach for safety, meaning, and connection — and what that costs you.
Moira never tells you who you are. It opens a door and asks. As the astrologer Liz Greene put it: the chart does not compel — it describes.
We're a small, independent team building Moira carefully, with respect for both the tradition and the person reading it. If you have questions, ideas, or just want to talk, reach us at [email protected].
