The first profection month starts on your birthday. Each following month advances one whole-sign house.
Check before interpreting
Use the monthly house to choose what to inspect in ordinary life, then take one small and reversible action.

A monthly profection narrows the annual theme.
If you enter a 10th-house annual profection, the first month also activates the 10th house. The second month moves to the 11th, the third to the 12th, and the sequence continues through all twelve houses before the next birthday.
A 2nd-house month can make money, possessions and practical security more useful areas to check. It does not mean financial loss is guaranteed. Review statements, renewals, cash flow and valuable belongings first; then decide whether any action is needed.
